I have no idea why it is set to expire before being sent and I have every cert in the org installed on both macs so I should trust anything generated by my network. So now I am down to the meat of the matter. Have to exit lync and reconnect, attempt to connect to a meeting then re-trust the cert every day. Of course this cert is generated on each connection to lync and seems to actually expire, so I I can then connect to meetings and use voice without any issues. If I then go into the cert and mark it as trusted, bingo! Everything works great. The cert is expired, set to expire one second before I receive it. The public version is expected to launch in Q3 later this year, replacing Microsoft’s Lync for Mac 2011. Is that I noticed on this mac that at the point I initially make my meeting connection I receive a cert entitled "Microsoft Lync Online Meeting" with one private key underneath it. Join a meeting using an url option in the Meetings menu. The second one, and the reason I am here, Then I could safely join the meeting to see shared materials from my mac.
#MICROSOFT LYNC FOR MAC JOIN MEETING ANDROID#
The first one I found was to use lync on android and have it call me. I have come up with two "solutions" to this issue. Separate from the initial one, and still break. If you answer, it will setup another voice conference If you retry, it MAY connect, but if it does it will only stay connected for a few seconds, voice will not show up and it will show that a random person from the conference is trying to call you. Nothing for about thirty seconds and prompt that it could not connect "Ok" "Retry". The issue happens when I attempt to connect to a meeting. On the retina mac (the one with the issues) lync works properly for all functions except joining a meeting like making phone calls, video chats and IM. Was retina vs non-retina but I've found that the issue is something else. I've been trying to figure out why they don't work the same though, one is able to join meetings without any issues and the other fails to join any meetings. I have two macs, both configured identically as far as I can see.
